The next Eaquals Webinar will be held tomorrow, 7th March 2023 from 10am to 1045am GMT and will be entitled 'How to Become a Gender Inclusive School.'

The webinar will examine how language schools can create more inclusive learning environments which consider gender equality while delivering the language courses they offer. The webinar will start by highlighting why gender equality should be an important agenda item for language schools all around world. After this introduction, the speaker will explain how gender equality can be considered while building a gender inclusive learning organization. The webinar will also include voices of the students who share their ideas on gender inclusive practices in language classrooms.

Serkan Aras Bio note

Serkan Aras works as the Undergraduate English Program Coordinator in the School of Languages, Özyeğin University. He received his combined BA and MA degree in English Teacher Education from Bilkent University in 2008 and his PhD in Gender Studies from Kadir Has University in 2018. He holds a DELTA from Cambridge University and he is a CELTA trainer. Serkan is also the Coordinator of IATEFL Teacher Development SIG (TDSIG).
